L.I.F.E. Line products are handmade by women in Kenya, empowering them to provide for their families and support education for special needs children in their community. By purchasing one of these products, you are helping to create job opportunities, ensure fair wages to artisans and support sustainable sourcing practices in rural Kenya, making a direct positive impact on the community for generations to come.

The L.I.F.E. Line started with a small group of mothers in Kenya, shunned by society because they had children with special needs. Teaching these women to sew empowered them to earn an income for their families and grow from quiet outcasts to leaders of change.

The L.I.F.E. Line has grown tremendously since its launch in 2008 and now employs more than 400 women in communities across Kenya. By providing competitive wages and sourcing materials locally, the L.I.F.E. Line is a fashionable step toward alleviating poverty.

Celebrating Earth Month, we are turning our focus toward the devastating ivory trade in Kenya. The L.I.F.E. Line is partnering with Save the Elephants and Ol Pejeta Conservancy to donate proceeds from our canvas bags to support efforts against ivory poaching.
